What does this have to do with tarot queens?
Not much; it's the only link I can think of between a witch and any sort of queen ... it's as tenuous as any link between the QoW and a 'witch card' ... I should have added a for you
I was having a go at this actually; "In 'The New Tarot Handbook' the Queen of Wands is noted as being known as the 'Witch card' because of the cat familiar."
Because someone has a cat and that makes them a witch so therefore this card is the witch card is just as silly as saying a slipped garter makes you the witch Queen. I am also saying that people that read (incorrectly shown symbolism) the way this author does are like those that interpret the garter myth as Royalty giving the secret nod to Wicca.
I guess I should have just said
Who is this author and how on earth do they justify that statement? (except by bland silly associations).
