Not much; it's the only link I can think of between a witch and any sort of queen ... it's as tenuous as any link between the QoW and a 'witch card' ... I should have added a
for you I was having a go at this actually; "In 'The New Tarot Handbook' the Queen of Wands is noted as being known as the 'Witch card' because of the cat familiar."
Because someone has a cat and that makes them a witch so therefore this card is the witch card is just as silly as saying a slipped garter makes you the witch Queen. I am also saying that people that read (incorrectly shown symbolism) the way this author does are like those that interpret the garter myth as Royalty giving the secret nod to Wicca.

Who is this author and how on earth do they justify that statement? (except by bland silly associations).
