Place to introduce foreign or unique oracles

Gulliver

Hello card-friends,

there are a lot of oracle decks on the market. I think, we only know a little part of them. How interesting would it be to become acquainted with some foreign oracles, which only were published in their own language. Or with some extraordinary oracles with a small edition.

Here I want to give a place to them.

Feel free to introduce this unique ones!

I want to introduce the Aloha-Karten (Karten means cards) by Jeanne Ruland.

Here you can see them, as you click with the mouse on the backs: http://www.vigeno.de/jeanne-ruland/aloha-karten

The cards are very beautiful and full of life, you can see natural images. Jeanne has illustrated the hawaiian philosophy, which is remarkable positive. I think there is a lot of positive energy in it, you can feel it and it touches you directly. It comes out of the cards direct in your heart.

There are hawaiian terms on the cards and an affirmation or a little description in german. Enclosed is a little book in which every card will explained detailed. You learn a lot about the hawaiian philosphy (huna) of life. And on the end of the description there is an affirmation. It helps to show you a way to live in harmony, to let old hurts go away and is a possibility to coach yourself in the direction of personal growth. I feel the cards as very healthful.

I love them!

Thank you for that. I am having Flash Player trouble with the site, so searched for images on the web. The cards have long descriptions in German which interests me as I have a large collection of German music but haven't got very far in learning the language. Are there other decks with a lot of text on them?

what 2dogs said, about the flash not working, ditto

There are some other decks in the oblong below too.

This is a great idea, I hope it takes off
what we see all the times doesn't seem like anything to share, but maybe no one else here knows about it.

I have several oracles from New Zealand and Australia I absolutely love, I'd like to know if there are more. Surely there are.

the first two rows are the cards

I have had a look for "orakelkarten" on amazon.de and found that putting the name or ISBN into amazon.co.uk will let me buy the cards from there, it just says up to 2 days more to deliver. So no need to register on the German site and get credit card charges for the foreign currency. The "Rabenkarten" look nice but I need to learn a lot more German - I am wondering if it would help to buy "Magie der Erde" and "Weisheitskarten der Seele" to compare against my English versions.

I couldn't get the flash player to work either but did see some cards on google.
It looks really pretty. Thanks for sharing!

Aloha-Karten (Karten means cards) by Jeanne Ruland

You may want to join in the General Oracles Study Group with these - the latest thread says #17 but it is actually starting again with new decks after going quiet for a few months. I have the Rabenkarten on order now so may switch to those when they arrive. :)

My book fro the Rainbow Bridge Oracle is on it's way to me. Can't wait to see it. I will order the deck closer to September.

@2dogs: I'm so sorry for the very late reply!! English isn't my first language and so I'm a little bit slow and need a lot of concentration to use it, sorry.

I'm very glad to see that you like the oracle. I thought some time about oracles with more than few words on the cards....but I have got the same thought like you: to buy an original english oracle in the german translation. Otherwise I've to say, the translation is not so good sometimes. But the most words are correct.

Really I don't know a good german oracle with a lot of text. But I don't know so much oracles. The "Rabenkarten" for instance I've never seen. But with Jeanne Ruland (she is the creator of different oracles) you can't go wrong, I think, because of she developed these with sensible positive vibration, there is really a lot of love in the cards.

Another oracle I could recommend would be the Aloha-spirit by Serge Kahili King (a Hawaiian). Here are only words on the card, but it's OOP, you have to look at the antiquarian market.

If I understood you correct, you have bought the "Rabenkarten". Wish you a lot of fun with them!

@all: Interesting introductions! Thanks for it!
