I'm 20 - Judgement. A card, incidentally, I always feel worried about when I see it in a reading... __________________ 'Monsters are real. And ghosts are real too. They live inside us. And sometimes, they win.' - Stephen King. One Deck Wonder: Thoth/Rosetta. To Midsummer. |

Tomorrow I am reading everyone's posts on the Lovers. I don't know why, but this card still confuses me. I didn't expect that. |

But if you keep adding, you would never be able to get most of the Majors. That doesn't seem right somehow, but I know nothing of these things, so... __________________ What happens in the Trade Train Cafe stays in the Trade Train Cafe! `````````enjoying the exploration - savoring the journey````````` ````````````````Collecting - Gazing - Shuffling```````````````` |

![]() I *think* you're only supposed to get the first couple of majors - something to do with the various cycles in the majors. That way, nobody ends up with, say, Death as their soul card. ![]() Or you could just keep adding until you're happy - nobody's going to give you a fine if you do it 'wrong'!

You add until you reach a number that gives you a major - otherwise no-one would ever have majors above 9 as their card ..... Leastways, that's what Mary Greer says in her book (ETA I think it's in Reading for Yourself)If I had Death as my soul card I think my life lesson might be in coping with changes and transitions? I have the Chariot as my soul card but IIRC I get the Tower as my birth card - now that did worry me! __________________ When I was a child/I caught a fleeting glimpse/Out of the corner of my eye La ilaha illa Allah Last edited by Wendywu; 21-01-2010 at 03:40. |

(I'm wondering if there is a more appropriate thread already around for this? We've been going rather off topic) |

Yay - I got my study posted on The Road (Chariot). I got such a lot from this study. I was always a bit iffy about this card before but now - it's a wonderful card. It has soooo much meaning - I was blind! I'm babbling, but I'm so pleased. And really looking forward to all the other cards
