Earth will pass through Comet ISON debris on January 12
Planet Earth will pass through two different populations of debris particles from Comet ISON on January 12. The planet will encounter debris (very tiny, not likely to cause a lightshow) from two directions.
Even though we won't be able to see the debris or watch a cosmic lightshow, it'll be there. So charge up those Moldavites and other Tektites!
