Universal Fantasy ~ Seven of Wands

Hemera

Two beasts with riders are in front of huge concrete blocks of flats. The buildings look ugly and unimaginative, they are just concrete blocks, no decoration and nothing extra. The environment looks somewhat hostile. There is aggression between the beasts and looks like the riders are a bit alarmed about it. If the big one decides to attack the small one there is nothing the riders can do about it. The animals have no saddles or harness or anything like that, they are just controlled by those thin ropes around their necks. I wonder if the animals are the same species -maybe a mother and its young? Or maybe they are different species, in which case the small one might have a chance if it is of a more ferocious type with sharper teeth. In any case, the small one doesn´t seem to be afraid of the big one. This reminds the David and Goliath-story.
Some interpretations for this card could be the traditional RWS ones: standing your ground, asserting yourself, making your point forcefully, refusing to yield, saying no, being firm. The LWB seems to confirm this with: "..we must defend what we believe in.."
