Well, yes, you've copyrighted them by posting, but why not spend a few bucks and GET the defensible position? You can copyright the entire deck (or whatever portion of it you've finished) as a single item, for a single cost. Simply get your local copy shop to print up however many pages of cards you've got, fitting as many on a page as you can manage, and kick them in to the Copyright office.

For about $30 plus the cost of printing (runs around $1.50 a page US for photo stock four color, last time I checked), you've got a really solid record. And that doesn't prevent you from doing it again with the full deck, or any changes, should you choose to.

after much meditation, i've arrived at a solution to showing updates of my deck without the scare of the cards being published without my notice or consent. i got the idea from a post by m-press. that is, i'll show the images in small sizes.

as for the copyright, i'm still saving up for that one.

here's the site i recently made that consolidates all the tarot images of all the decks i'm currently working on. it also shows how many more cards i still need to finish for each deck.
