The Daniloff tarot strikes me as pretty masculine. And it's not OOP!

It's meant to be neutral, but I find the International Icon to be robust, not overly feminine or decorated. Very "just the facts ma'am" and so great to read with. Its use of colour is fantastic too - and you'll love the Emperor card!

They are both the same price ... maybe you'll purchase one of each? <toothy smile> Right now - before you forget again? <bigger toothy smile>

There is also the book "Every Man's Tarot: Tarot and the Male Experience:

I second the Röhrig Tarot. It contains nudidity, racing cars and a lot of other things the average guy enjoys. It is kinda, sorta toth inspired. To me, it feels decidedly masculine, almost like flicking through Playboy or somesuch.

I, as a woman, love it and use it when I want a really blunt, no nonsense answer. It often gives me a very different perspective on things, I think of it as seeing things from a masculine perspective. I know, as female I can never see things from a truly masculine perspective, but that is another discussion.

For questions where the needed answer might be harsh and gritty, I use the celtic tarot by Lo Scarabeo (Gaudenzi/Tenuta). I don't see this one as particularly masculine, just generally dirty and bloody. But I can see this one appealing to men.either.

However, it is funny how many of the "masculine" decks appeal to me. These days the Morgan Greer is my comfort deck. But for me, this one is not typically masculine, it's just bold, straightforward and sometimes a little simple.

There's also the Azathoth Tarot. Based on the works of Lovecraft, it has a "cool factor" that's really great. It doesn't fit the "no nonsense trope, but I would classify it as fairly masculine. Also, incidentally, influenced by the Thoth.

I could definitely see this one being used by someone who was into heavy metal, too.

Just wanted to say in particular that I really find your book and deck very intriguing, Mr. Tarotbear Just purchased two decks last week, but your stuff is absolutely next on my wish list! Your deck is so charming! (How can I resist a bespectacled Fool with a wonderful mustache?)

I've looked into the other decks, and they are nice, too, but right now I am lacking in some "modern" decks--and I don't have a B&W one to boot. The Fortune's Wheel of Tarot has a really beautiful Star card though, thank you...I'm a sucker for gorgeous Star cards
