test of playing card Museum
Hi, at http://trionfi.com/01/s/ some older German playing card decks are shown from the WWPCM. Some treasures, for instance Hofämterspiel, Ambras, Floetner It's a test, if anybody receives good pictures and if the page works. When it doesn't work at your computer, please tell me details (browser, graphical representation). Thanks __________________ Huck "getting it home to the writing desk" Last edited by Huck; 15-02-2004 at 06:09. |

Works great for me Huck! I don't get 8 of Falcons or 2 of Hounds - are they missing from the original? Ross __________________ ΑΓΕΩΜΕΤΡΗΤΟΣ ΜΗΔΕΙΣ ΕΙΣΙΤΩ Trionfi http://trionfi.com Tarot Essays http://www.angelfire.com/space/tarot |

There are 3 missing cards, already in the original, as far I know. __________________ Huck "getting it home to the writing desk" |

Thanks again for the great resource, Huck. For what it's worth, I'll mention that the images work really well and fast - I'm using Safari 1.2 (v125) on Mac OS X 10.3.2 on a 1Ghz G4 Apple PowerBook. |

This is absolutely fantastic, Huck, I'm having a great time looking at the decks. Wow! All those dogs, ROFL. The pictures load well. What doesn't work is that the frames don't automatically resize to fit the screen, and don't give the option to move them left or right to see the portions that don't fit on the screen. For the browser I'm using (Safari, on Mac OS 10) |

Which card(s) need resizing? I do not recall problems, though I have not as yet viewed each and every card. |

Museum in development
Now also some 80 or 90 Tarot decks are watchable, partly already in Inanas's list, but now with a better optical representation. It's a frame-solution, but I guess, most people don't have a problem with it. Alexander, owner of the pictures, is rather cooperative. He has more than 2500 decks. Some very erotical decks are under them ... :-) I don't know where the international limitations are in the moment. Please tell me your idea about it ... if it seems to be too open or somehow ... too much. The adress has changed. It's now at http://trionfi.com/01/s/ Inana's list is still at the same place: http://trionfi.com/01/i/j/ and the historical collection at: http://trionfi.com/01/i/ __________________ Huck "getting it home to the writing desk" Last edited by Huck; 07-02-2004 at 23:39. |

Re: Museum in development
The MUSEUM has developed, there is now an entry to all 2600 decks of Alexander Sukhorukow, however, still unsorted. We do work at the problem, probably we create a researchable data-base. This will be some work. We could need some helpers at the right time to copy the data at the right place, when the mask is ready - 2600 decks are much. http://trionfi.com/01/s/ Inana's list is still at the same place: http://trionfi.com/01/i/j/ and the historical collection at: http://trionfi.com/01/i/ __________________ Huck "getting it home to the writing desk" |

Re: Re: Museum in development
Alexander's collection is now included, although only receivable by number (2600 decks). Visiting it is a vast walk through the history of all sorts of human creativity, a broad spectrum of all. Some cheap things, some expensive, some good taste, some bad taste, normal playing cards, special playing cards, fortune decks of al kind, decks for children, decks for special games, Jokers especially ... well, and some Tarot decks also. You've long nights to do, if you want to take a short visit. http://trionfi.com/01/s/ Inana's list is still at the same place: http://trionfi.com/01/i/j/ and the historical collection at: http://trionfi.com/01/i/ We're working to sort the material to get it better presented. __________________ Huck "getting it home to the writing desk" Last edited by Huck; 15-02-2004 at 00:25. |
