If you say le Chat de Marseille, you mean that the cat is from Marseille. It's his nationality, if you like.

Saying "Chat du Marseille"... implies that the cat is derived from the deck itself. "Marseille" meaning "le Tarot du Marseille".

Which to me is must closer to what you have designed. The cat is not from Marseille. He is from the Tarot of Marseille.

You could also have written "Le Chat du Tarot de Marseille", but that would have been too long and very unsubtle.

Your title is perfect - whether you understood the grammar or not.

Thanks! Short & sweet, works for me! Long titles are harder to say/remember/or list.

Yeay! Jeannette's got me up on Tarot Garden, type in 'Chat' & it's the first one that comes up. I'm listed as offline inventory though.

I got this deck last week, I think it's lovely and I really love the bag as well - such a neat way to package the deck

I also got the Ferret tarot - they're so cute

Great that Tarotgarden has it too now

It's here!!!!! YAY!!!! :)

My beautiful Chat du Marseille decks arrived in yesterday's mail, and I wanted to let everyone know how lovely they are!!! Please, if anyone is considering getting this deck....what are you waiting for??? They are just wonderful....and I have no idea how Hudson is able to offer them for only $8 each....I would have paid that much just for the lined pouch that comes with it!!!

I actually bought two sets (for $16, including shipping, 2 bags!!!)
and plan to color one and leave the other B & W.....I am also planning to laminate both decks to protect them and to ensure that they can shuffled and enjoyed!!!

THANK YOU HudsonGray for creating such a beautiful and unique deck, and for making it available at such a great price!!!

My Chat du Marseille Tarot arrived in the mail today!! I had no idea it was going to be here so soon - it took less than a week !

The cards are adorable - the images follow the Marseille pretty accurately from what I can tell, but some details have been added that make you laugh out loud . The tarot bag that comes with it is absolutely beautiful!

I'll have a lot of fun with this deck, I can tell.

Thank you soooo much, Hudson!!

Best regards,
Spoonbender

Thanks guys! Did you catch the teeth on Strength? There's only one cat with whiskers, the Magician works with his OWN tools, and there's a bunch of others---

Diane gave it a really good review over at Tarot Passages today:

http://www.tarotpassages.com/chatmarseille.htm

She even likes some of the images better than the original deck had them (thanks!). The one downside I've got with my decks - and it bugs the heck out of me - is the lack of lamination available by the local print shops, but I did get a lead on a printer in a nearby city who might be able to solve that for me in the future.

The Ferret Tarot just got a review up on Aeclectic here, today, too. So I'm a happy camper today!
