finally introducing myself-oooops
hi - i started checking out these forums somewhere in december, and still am :-) didn't expect that though, most forums are pretty much focused around one subject, with a lot of meaningless smalltalk about other stuff - grows boring after a while. this doesn't :-))) anyway, since i'm not a very active poster either and i didn't expect to keep finding this forum interesting i never properly introduded myself; now it suddenly feels like the decent thing to do :-) so, here it goes: i'm 22, live in belgium, and my main interest is art. my mom started learning about astrology when i was about fourteen and i couldn't stand her suddenly seeing through me, so i wanted to know how she did that. since then i've been picking up books on astrology every now and then :-) still an amateur though, there are always so many things interesting at once - freedom of choice is a horrible thing when you're lousy at choosing :-))) about a year ago i bought a tarot deck, mainly because i'm always attracted to symbolical stuff, especially when it has some sort of system in it and it has to do with psychologically exploring things. (it was a crowley thoth deck btw, still like it) so now i'm still trying to figure out how tarot works, find it very intriguing and am completely blown away by how everyone here does all these complicated readings with all these complicated decks... it's awesome. so, i'm still not a frequent poster, but there are a lot of interesting reads in here. thanks. lotte |

thanks everyone, i like this forum a lot ;D ;D ps hey kayne, i've heard a lot of people say that before, that crowley isn't a beginnersdeck (propably one of the reasons i bought it anyway - always like challenges )however, it works for me, i like the artwork a lot and i think it's pretty clear because of the colors and symbolical stuff they've used thanks for the warning though, and i'll still need that good luck too
