Just got the Thoth for my birthday, and it was love at first sight, but I feel that to learn it entails studying Tarot from the beginning. Quite intimidating

It was love at first sight for me when I got my Thoth as well (this was only recently too!).
I really love the artwork and there is just so much to "see" in these cards. I feel it is one of those decks that may take a long time to really get to know and learn, but I definitely think it will be worthwhile and no doubt an enlightening journey.
So you are not on your own and don't feel too intimidated, just think of increasing your depth of knowledge bit by bit! Card by card even.
