You're posting the imgur weblink. Which you obviously figured out.
If there is no extension at the end of the link such as .jpg or .png then it is not an image and you would just paste the link WITHOUT the [IMG] coding. You only use those with image files.

What you are missing is the "/" before the last [IMG] -

it's supposed to look like this: [IMG] whateverimage.jpg[/IMG]

This should work.
