"darker" books on tarot intrepretation?

I've seen many "dark" tarot decks, but most of the books I've seen
tend to lean toward a more "light" interepretation of the cards (not
good/evil, I'm talking about tone of the interpretation). Are there
any books that look more at the darker side of tarot intrepretation -
maybe more negative is what I mean - but not just on reversed images -
as a whole a darker tone in interpretation?

Hi morandia!

There is a book available that I think is along the lines of what you are looking for. It is called Tarot Shadow Work: Using the Dark Symbols to Heal by Christine Jette....

I have not read the book, but have been curious about this one as well as her other book, Tarot for the Healing Heart.

You can read some customer reviews here at the amazon website:

Good luck with finding the right book....

That's the one I was thinking of too. It came out fairly recently I think (last 3 years or so).
