A tailor of stories (and 22 stories cut in wood)

A sale of engraved wood to the bookseller Jérôme de Gourmont: -

Sale by Thierry Lambert, 'tailor of stories' now residing in Paris, rue de Bièvre, at the sign of the Coronation Notre-Dame, to Jérôme de Gourmont, merchant librarian sworn in the University, bourgeois of Paris, of 'several stories cut in wood ... '.

A sale is made for 10 ecus of gold, for the payment of which Jérôme de Gourmont has handed to the seller twenty-two 'stories' also cut in wood 'of the Triunph of the Emperor' that the buyer has in his possession and said that it belonged to the widow and heirs of Robert Perry, a card-maker in Antwerp, to whom Thierry Lambert would be held against the payment of 10 ecus of sun gold, at the same time he would return them a schedule of 11 books 3 sols 6 deniers tournois which remained at Jérôme de Gourmont by Robert Perry.

Original french -- corrections to translation welcome! I suppose tailor might be better translated 'teller', but I liked the idea of a 'tailor' of stories
