I noticed the purple and white...but didn't noticed it if you know what I mean...it took me a second look to realize...she's sitting between purple-and-white curtains!
Perfect!

I leave you with the Strength card from the Tarot of the Magical Forest.

Really "seeing" one another is one of the best gifts we can give in this crazy, crazy world. It takes great fortitude to look beyond the easy answers, to see past the end of our own noses, and to try to understand a perspective that is different from ours. How often would it be easier to simply mow someone else down because we have to be "right?"

An open heart is the heart of a warrior. It is not weakness to be compassionate, to have empathy.

"For me, every hour is grace. And I feel gratitude in my heart each time I can look at someone and look at his or her smile." - Eli Wiesel

I think I would like to leave the Magician.
It seems to be one card that follows me around on Aeclectic.

An Ojibwe Elder; Grandfather Hollis said to me - "the answer is only 50 feet away from you... Find it"

I hope your life is a Magical Journey, and all that you need is within reach.

I will leave two because I feel these go so well together; Queen of Cups from The Illumniati Erik C Dunne, be true to your heart when in search of happiness and Crossroads from Gilded Reverie Lenormand Ciro Marchetti, this closure is a whole new path for many of us who like me have been on here for years. All of us have learnt so much from each other but now it is a time to go onto a new path, some of us will go it alone, and some of us have joined other communities already to stay in touch with each other. Just remember that someones else's path is not one you should follow blindly, srtike out on your own and remember the Queen of Cups message stay true to your heart. Unfortunately I cannot post a picture of these cards but that could be a part of your journey to discover these cards for yourself and see if they resonate with you

The 'DEATH' Card from Cathy McClelland's STAR TAROT

For me, it's the best damn 'Death' card EVER! And I feel so appropriate for the 'ending' of AT... a major TRANSITION for all of us.

As for Decks, it will ALWAYS and FOREVER be the 'FRANKENDECKEN: Tarot of the 78 Spares' that I won back in 2011.

http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=138690

I first received 'Frankie' during the Christmas holiday 2010, hence, the picture. I sent him on his way to the next participant never daring to hope that I would be the lucky winner.

Just thinking about this Deck, the Creative process involved, the genius of LeFanu coming-up with the Idea, roppo's fantastic Videos, all the Participants, and Frankie's journey around the world... well, it brings me to tears. It is, and will FOREVER remain, my most cherished Memory, and Deck, from AT.

I'll leave Temperance... Just good ol' RWS. Participating in this site has brought me a sense of peace and been a "calm in the eye of the storm" many times: Trying my hand at interpreting other people's spreads often wrenched me away from the excessive introversion and emotionality that threaten to swallow me up. I daresay that it's made me a bit less "extreme" in some other ways, too — though I'm still pretty OCD when it comes to editing posts! (Ah, well... Can't win 'em all, heh.) Take care, everyone.

NICE Death card!

Yeah, I was cruising the Frankie and Shelly threads yesterday, got Shelly out and went through the cards. *sigh*

I'll leave The Chariot - from the Röhrig Tarot; http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/rohrig/

This was, if I remember correctly, the 2nd or possibly 3rd deck I purchased. The Chariot is the card that drew me to it.

To future readers; Do what you need to do to stay on your path to enlightenment. Try to not let mundane matters or other people's negativity get in your way. Stay with the Tarot, work towards your personal growth.
