Please forgive me if I don't have this posted in the correct place...Admin feel free to move if needed. I have recently been drawn strongly towards these decks. I love both of them! The Mandala Cards for their shear power and the Arcana Deck for the incorporation of the more traditional Tarot symbology. I would really like to know if anyone is using these or is familiar with them to give me some insight into these decks. They are both extremely powerful, and have a physical affect on me. I am very familiar with Chakra work, however, I have found that just looking at these cards online seems to create or stir up energies within that I am having difficulty mastering. Both decks are very expensive, so I am forcing myself not to "buy, buy, buy" until I know a little more about them and how to 'master' the powerful energies they portray. Does anyone know why neither of these decks have the traditional number of cards? Any comments or guidance on either of these decks would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance! __________________ ~wildchilde "It is a mathematical fact that the casting of this pebble from my hand alters the center of gravity of the universe." -Thomas Carlyle |

wow! these are gorgeous! i would love to work with them. here is a link for anyone wishing to view the cards being discussed; http://www.soul-guidance.com/tarotdecks/page_5.htm wildchilde, you mentioned the strong energies that you are having "difficulty mastering". i would recommend working with one card at a time (starting with the individual chakra cards) and meditating on it for at least a week before moving onto another card. (chakra) mandalas can be extremely stimulating and going slowly would have more benefit in the long run. the tarot deck appears to be just the major arcana with 7 additional cards representing the 7 individual chakras. i've not worked it out, and would have to really think it through... but what seems to be their explanation is that there are 21 combinations of chakras; a combination being two chakras together that are located next to each other for example, the third and fourth, or the sixth and seventh. __________________ live life |

Thanks Zorya! I got so caught up in them...I couldn't even think about the mathematical implications! They are Gorgeous!!! I love them both equally, which is the biggest problem in trying to decide which to buy! B/C I know I can't get both (at least not right now). I think though, I would have to go with the Arcana cards first just b/c I would be more familiar with them since they are based more on the traditional cards.I also like your recommendation of working with one card at a time. I think this would be an important step in balancing the energies when working with the deck as a whole. Appreciate your input! __________________ ~wildchilde "It is a mathematical fact that the casting of this pebble from my hand alters the center of gravity of the universe." -Thomas Carlyle |
