I just learn the spanish version of this book will be available, I would like to ask if the book is worthwhile or not. Is this book a collection of spreads?, how to design or just as the title says how to use spreads with examples. Thank you very much for your help. |

Hi Flavio I have this book. I hate to disuade anyone from buying things as they may get something out of them that I do not, but I am not that excited about Abraham's book. The book starts with the usual - history of the tarot and setting up to read, and then goes on with a very brief idea of each card - upright and reversed. Then, in sections, there are chapters on different kinds of readings - for example 'Love and Romace' - the readings in this section are 'A New Lover', 'A romantic Attraction', 'Lovers Spread' and 'Magical Love'. There are examples of her readings for each spread; two examples for each spread. For instance, 'Lovers Spread for Larry'. It is interesting enough to follow her interpretations through the readings but they are not particularly extensive. I do not have any other books on spreads, but I am sure that there are better ones about. Hope that has helped. Yaboot |

Thank you for your comments Yaboot001, it made me keep consider getting this book, which will be available from next week. I read some positive comments about another book by S. Abraham on how to read, it made wonder what are the impressions on her spreads book. Is nice to know it is not only a book of spread, but actually reading samples, I might use those readings as exercises when offline. |
