Dreaming about the forum

I had a dream yesterday or the day before: I dreamt I was reading messages on the forum. I couldn't READ them, I saw them on the screen but they made no sense. So, I am not sure what it means (unless it means I am spending too much time here, which in the last couple of days, I HAVE BEEN!) But I just want to say:


I LOVE YOU, GUYS!

Not impossible! I was feeling so low this week, I had a touch of the flu. Yesterday, I spent almost all day on the forum, since I was too tired to be elsewhere, and bored with reading. By last night I was so hyped up, I could not sleep, and I am up again early after only about 5 hrs! I feel all revved up again, maybe the healing helped!

I like the Purple flame of transformation too, Moonbow*, thank you for pointing that out. I usually don't like being part of a circle, I can't trust enough for that, but I will try if you want me in next time, to pay back for what I have received. Can you PM me when it is time again?

Hi Ace,

are you by any chance a Virgoan or Capricorn? According to a dream book that I have, you had a Frustration dream and they are most often experienced by the above two zodiac signs.

The book says that these types of dreams are significant for the type of impression they make on you - For example, were you frustrated and deflated, or were you stimulated to find a creative solution???

Anyhow, hope you are feeling better.

The dream really came to nothing. It was a passing thing, but I am having a lot of feeling about the forum right now. It came up in a reading a friend did for me, as a very positive influence in my life. So I am trying to be present when I can. As for my sign, I am Aquarian sun and Ascendent with Taurus Moon. So put that in your astrological pipe and smoke it!

Actually, I don't mean to be smirky about it, but I really don't like astrology much. I use a Horoscope spread, it is handy, but I feel astrology is a way to excuse oneself from changing. Astrologers, the ones I have met anyway, don't seem like happy people. they talk free will on one hand, and then that they have to wait on the planets on the other.

On the other hand, I wonder if it WAS a bit of a frustration dream, you may be on to something there PS. I couldn't read what the forum had to say, what might THAT mean?

As for feeling better, thank you, yes I am. In fact I wrote that because I felt called to say, I love all of you, when I couldn't sleep Thursday night. Friday I was so revved up, I got a huge amount of work done, now I am back to same old rut, but I am working through it. Now to work, I am reading tonight....

Aaagh .................... there are so many misconceptions about astrology . Most knowledgable astrologers say people can and do change. In fact the insights one gets from astrology can help you to understand what has occurred and change!

Astrology doesn't claim that the planets have any direct impact on people in any way. It simply says that the same force which moves the planets also moves us.

  * As the universe, so the soul

Astrology and Tarot are both accurate but in different ways. I have found both to be so helpful. The kind of astrology you see in the daily newspapers and women's magazines is pretty weak. In some ways I hope the Tarot never becomes mainstream because the same thing will happen to it.

Aeclectic is a good internet community - and you're right - we have shared interests and there is so much good will. Enjoy the halo effect . Eventually you will become realistic and find that it is still a beautiful community.

There are still the themes and threads that flow through most communities though. You may not have seen them erupt here yet. It is how we deal with those which shows most about what sort of community we are.

I love it here at ATF too. I have made some lovely friends here that I contact outside of the forum. It is very nurturing and accepting place to be.

Okay, back to the dream for a moment. In your post, you jokingly dismissed one spiritual/divination form (eg. astrology). Is it possible that the dream was telling you that here at ATF, you are going to come across other people's beliefs - and you may not agree or understand them (eg. you couldn't read the posts in the dream) but that you should accept them for what they are???? Other people's beliefs! Perhaps this is your subconscious' way of telling you not to be judgemental?

LOL... I think I'm leaning toward the "spending too much time on the boards" theory. My eyes go buggy after a while, but it's so hard to tear myself away sometimes!
