Okay, back to the dream for a moment. In your post, you jokingly dismissed one spiritual/divination form (eg. astrology). Is it possible that the dream was telling you that here at ATF, you are going to come across other people's beliefs - and you may not agree or understand them (eg. you couldn't read the posts in the dream) but that you should accept them for what they are???? Other people's beliefs! Perhaps this is your subconscious' way of telling you not to be judgemental?

What do you think?
I think you may be right. That is one problem I have, much as I want to really KNOW that there is NO one true way, I really have a hard time accepting Astrology, and perhaps Satanism (although, believe it or not less than Astrology!) or some other systems that I just can't get into, like Christianity! Thanks, PS, I think that is a major point.

Sniff! you guys are so good to me here. You put up with my b--ching, you answer my questions, YOU LISTEN to what I say. I still say it I LOVE YOU GUYS. But PS, and the rest of you: please feel free to call me on it when I get high-handed. This is, I think, a very good place for me to be, a place where I can really explore tarot to a depth I never have before. And I need people to tell me when I am being judgemental and just plain all wet!

At first I thought that was all it was, but PS really did make a good point. I just can't get enough of this place!

As for my dreams this week: Last night I dreamt about gangsters and woke up meditating on ethics! So this place is opening my mind to ALOT of new ideas! Thank you all!

Dear Ace,

Regarding the judgement - well at one stage in my life, I was very judgemental too. Now I've come to realise that everybody has a valid point of view. That is what makes this community so rich. And though I don't always agree with what is said here, it is always interesting to see somebody else's point of view. It provides a balance. So we are not going to pull you into line. That's not what this place is about. It's about being open-minded and sharing knowledge and opinions, and yours are very welcome here

You know, we all carry positive and negative traits/characteristics. Often what we admire or dislike in other people are hidden parts of our own personalities. The trick is accepting and integrating them into your being.

Earlier this year, another ATF member suggested that I do some work on integrating my shadow side. I didn't even really know what it was until they mentioned it. Then, a friend gave me a book called "The Dark Side of the Light Chasers" written by Debbie Ford. It explains what the shadow side is and has exercises to help you work through the accepting and integration process.

You might like to check this book out for yourself.

cheers

Hi Ace, I love it here too

I just stumbled across this thread and love the fact that it coincided with the AT healing. Coincidence or not, doesn't matter really...it's great that it happened at the same time.

Thanks Moonbow* for seeing the link and making the comparison.

I think we will have another healing next month, sounds like a grand idea

I love you, too, ACE!

Don't know what the dream meant, but AT is a great place.

Quite an international family...

Blessings,

terri
