Blah, sorry, I forgot to add the link I edited the post but here it is again: http://www.spiritone.com/~filipas/Ma.../soprafin.htmlIt's the Star card, I'd prefer the whole image (don't need the border) but it's just hard to get it to work. |

I've made you a few different versions, starting from one cropped as tight as possible to exclude the border, and then simply resized down to 120 high. This is probably what you were getting that you said isn't very clear. Next one, I've actually moved the sky down, to remove a clear space, and then resized to 120 high. Still not as clear as you might like, but it's getting better. The last one, I've moved the sky down even further, and cropped out the top and bottom as much as I could without losing too much of the image, and then resized to 120 x 120 without preserving the original ratio. It's not bad, you can see what it is, but the squashing does change it a little.. I suppose it depends on what you want. If you'd like to use any of those feel free to save them to your computer and them upload them to your profile ![]() http://the-onion.net/shared/star/ Oh, and the images don't have those borders on, that's just the stylesheet making them look pretty

Hey guys... I really would like to upload my own picture but I have no idea where to even start... When I go to edit avatars it only gives me an option of about 10 little pictures which I can choose from and thats it... Any ideas??? xxx cm __________________ The universe is transformation; our life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius |

Hi CM I believe you have to have 500 posts before you can upload your own avatar. (Don't quote me tho) I am sure it is posted somewhere in FAQ's or something. |

According to the list of changes to the board, which is available here (http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=33004), only subscribers may now upload custom avatars. Number of posts is no longer a factor in whether or not you're allowed to do so. __________________ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." -- Mahatma Gandhi Your life affects others' whether you realize it or not. You have to be a subscriber now?! Geez that sucks. Profile pictures and avatars are two different things, but I'm not sure if everyone can upload profile pictures either...(so unfair). Rabble, those images are lovely, but still difficult to make out very well if I were to put them on my page. I feel guilty not using them though, you shouldn't have gone to all that trouble. I still like the entire image the best but it's just so small

It was no trouble, DeadStar. I like messing around with images and stuff ![]() I thought you were talking about wanting that Star to use for your profile image, on this site.. if it's your own site you're talking about, why does it need to be that small? And on the matter of who gets to upload profile pics and avatars, I don't think subscribers only is unfair. Solandia pays for all of this web space, and maintains the boards, giving us all a great place to come and play. If many of us do contribute in a small way towards the upkeep of this, that's just one way for her to say thanks to us. That's what subscriber benefits are all about. __________________ are we there yet? The Garden Path - an antipodean tarot Last edited by rabble; 05-12-2004 at 09:54. |
