Hi fyreflye,

If you put these ISBN's into the Amazon search, it will bring them up.

978-3-86826-504-0 - standard deck
978-3-86826-503-3 - pocket deck

Also its the standard that is more the size of the lavender box one - I ordered the other - I'll see how i like it when it comes before deciding if I want to order the other size.

Thanks Nightgarden

After looking at the scans you provided i have now ordered the standard pack, i wasn't really happy with the title changes but the cards look great.

I just at to add, the back borders look much better.

Thank you, Dean!

The cardstock is wonderful, like all decks I have from this publisher AGM AGMüller Urania.
(especially my 3 Crowley-decks).
Shuffles and fans out like a dream and be robust as well.
They never stick.
Love to work with them, more than with any other deck.

Nightgarden, what do you think of the images? They look like a pale comparison to the older AGM versions, but do they work for you, and how?

You're right-a lot of the pictures looking somewhat yellowed and a little bit blurry. The "AGMüller"'s are much more sharper in detail/contours.
I was disappointed at the first look through the deck.

Than-I began to shuffle, fan out, work with it.
It was exciting, the size of the cards (both regular and small) fits perfect in my hands. Better than my trimmed large AGM-Deck.
Now I use this both new decks exclusive and I love them.
Some of the colours have other nuances as the "old" AGM-version, but that doesn't bother me.
You get a new look at an long time favourite and it is both familiar and fresh to the eyes.

Hope, this helps.

I highly recommend this new deck.

I just looked both of these up on Deutsche Amazon, and if I'm reading the dimensions right, the cards are a different *shape* than the AGM ones - they look to be "fatter".

Is that the case?

I know that Amazon measures the boxes, but for instance, the "pocket" deck is listed as 9,4 x 7,2 - and my regular sized deck measures 11.2 x 7.6 That's almost an inch shorter, with about the same width dimension. As I look at the cards, I can't imagine what they would do to lose that much in height - unless the new cards show more of the image in the width.

So, if you compare a trump from each deck, *do* they show more of the image? How do they come up with that much of a difference in proportion?

Thanks, Nightgarden. I love hearing your take on the cards.

But can you compare the dimensions to the older versions? I'm really curious as to what they did. Is there more image, or are the borders proportioned differently?
