Which Stone is this?

I have a couple stones that I need help figuring out what they are.
One is polished and blue with lacy white streaks on it. The other is rough, and has metallic purple and gold coloring.

I can't figure out what either of them are. Can you please help me?

the first one is probably blue lace agate and the other could be peacock ore (but im not certain about that one)

I think that first one could be sodalite. The second sounds very much like lepidolite to me. Pictures would certainly help.

light purple or dark purple? could be Sugilite

Are these stones semi-transparent or solid?

The blue one is a darkish blue.
The purple one is dark purple.
Neither are transparent.

agate and lepidolite (lepidolite is purple frleck with tiny gold bits) sounded good to me, or dark amethyst....the lepidolite in this picture is actually darker in person, as I have ordered from her...

OK, I have figured out that the purple one is peacock ore. The blue one is sodalite. I found pictures of them and they match up with the stones I have.

I know this would have been much easier to do if I had a way to put the pictures on my computer, but I didn't.

Hey LadyofDreams, not a bad record for us, huh? 1 for 2. You got the peacock ore and I had the sodalite. Don't mean to gloat, but I think that is pretty good, being able to figure it out just by description, with our not having pictures to go by.
