Good Morning! Quote:
Well, I thought maybe someone would hop in overnight -- the combined tarot knowledge of the participants on this thread is awesome. I was running here-and-there so frantically yesterday (work + out-of-town family dropping in for a visit) I didn't even get a shot at the Folchi "Colombo" deck, despite several intervening good misses. Although admittedly, my first reaction was that it was from the Folchi "Nuovo Mondo" deck, so I would have missed it if I'd posted before double-checking anyway. As for the present dilemma: it's the Emperor card from the "Jonathan Dee" Tarot, a.k.a. the Barnes & Noble Tarot, a.k.a. several other names I can't remember at the moment. I've got to run off to a doctor's appointment now, but if I'm right, I'll try to find something equally challenging to post when I return. And if I'm not right -- forty paper cuts for me with a freshly-unwrapped tarot card! -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden |

Probably one of the strangest decks I have due to it's head scratching jumble of symbolism...but there are some cool little details in it that I like. I can't wait to see what Jeanette pulls out of the vast tarot library next! I just love this game!! Here's the whole card... __________________ Out Of Body...Back in 5 Minutes |

Actually, I've been trying to restrict my choices to avoid the more "obscure" items -- although I'm sure eventually there'd be someone surfing through the thread that could take on about anything I'd post. Still, it's more fun when everyone has a shot at it, so I'm trying to stick with the titles which most folks would have heard of, even if they don't own the deck themselves. What I'd really like to be able to do is to post something as clever as bassetized "Tarot of the Dead" example. But my very un-artistic eye hasn't hit on anything quite that deliciously evil yet. So, this one will have to do. I scanned several cards with potential from this deck, but settled on this one, for its sheer bizzarreness. Good luck to all! -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden |

Wow -- and she even posted a link so I don't have to post the whole card. Well done, Kissa! I humbly turn the riddle-master reins over to you. -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden |

On behalf of Kissa, who is not able to post attachments on the forums, I include the following new poser. Kissa will field the guesses and declare the winner. Have fun! -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden |

My off the top of my head guess (while I'm started to dig through decks) is something from the Inner Child Cards. --bassetized __________________ "I will accept no bull from your house." ---Psalms 50:9 |

No no no--I know now (jumping up and down and gesticulating wildly)! This is from the Songs from the Journey Home deck. I don't own it (and so don't know which card this is), but it's one of them shown on the Aeclectic main site for this deck. Is this close enough? ![]() Edited: Found other scans online--it's the "Wave Resolving" card, I think. __________________ "I will accept no bull from your house." ---Psalms 50:9 Last edited by bassetized; 17-03-2005 at 02:53.
