It does look like Rousseau, dosen't it? But it's not. And it does look like tarot of the Ages, Annabelle, but it's not.

So here's another clip, that would sit verticaly on the first clip.

Ah, is it the Amber tarot?

I don't own it, myself, but from what I've seen of the scans, it sure does look like it.

Edited to add: Ah ha! It is the Amber, from the Ace of Wands . . . I just recognized it from the scans here at AT.

I never would have gotten it in a million years if I hadn't just been looking at scans from the Amber a few days ago.

On with the next round, then. Happy guessing, everyone!

Wow, that was fast!!! And from such a teensy, tiny clip, too! Congratulations Jeannette !!

A full scan of the Emperor from the Cosmic tarot is attached. And now over to you, Jeannette!

Thanks, Annabelle! My only saving grace was probably that gregory is out-of-town right now -- LOL!

OK, here's one that's pretty rare, but quite distinctive. It's in the Tarot Garden database -- in fact, the card this clip is taken from is among the card samples included with our listing. I suppose gregory owns it, but I doubt many others here do. But hopefully I've picked a good, representative clip and given enough hints to get y'all started.

Welcome back, Jeannette! Your presence has been sorely missed!

This clip comes from...Sternenmadchens Wahrsagespiel Tarot. (Whew! I wouldn't want to try to say that three times fast!)
