OK, here is my first hint. This deck was/is mass produced. I THINK it has fairly recently gone out of print. (Note that I am a bit confused with regard to the status of this deck. Some sites list it as being out of print while others do not. I am wondering if there may have been a reprinting of the deck or if it may now have a different distributor?) At any rate, if it is OOP, it is still fairly easy to access. Any more guesses, anyone?! weaver __________________ "Discipline is remembering what it is you truly want." Hey Weaver, this is a real toughy - how about a bigger clip? __________________ ~Forgiveness doesn't mean approval...forgiveness is letting go of the hope for a better past.~ paraphrase from the December 2008 issue of David Emerald's "The TED* Letter" |

No need for a bigger clip, weaver -- it's the Queen of Wands card from Elisabetta Trevisan's Crystal Tarots. -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden Edited to add: BTW, weaver -- where did you get the information stating that this deck was recently OOP? I just reordered it from the North American distributor last month. It's still in the catalog. __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode Last edited by Jeannette; 12-12-2005 at 16:29. |

)Trying to figure out when this deck was published for use as a possible clue here, I linked from the reviews of this deck here (AT) and Tarot Passages to Amazon. In both instances the Amazon listing read that the deck was OOP. (Your site, the most accurate/reliable source of such information, was down/unavailable to me when I was doing this research. ) Still, I think I have only owned my deck for a year or so. It was decidedly in print then. Having doubts WRT the Amazon listing, I went to the Llewellyn site and found it is currently available through them. Confused (TG was still down) I then went directly to Amazon to check again (rather than link from a review of the Crystal). Accessing it that way, the deck is listed as available with a 3 week wait. Suspecting that the deck may have been republished OR now has a different distributor, I amended my hint accordingly. But enough of that (though I do wish to apologize for the confusion)...Here is the entire card!!!! Jeannette, it is great to see you here again. I am looking forward to seeing what you decide to challenge us with! ![]() weaver __________________ "Discipline is remembering what it is you truly want." Yeah, I kinda come and go on this thread, don't I? Actually, I check in fairly regularly... but y'all have gotten really mean . Such tiny clips sometimes! And to think I gave gregory grief at one time about posting a "microscopic" clip -- LOL! ![]() OK, so... here's a not-so-microscopic clip. It's not actually as large as my scan makes it out to be... I always scan at 300 dpi so people can get a really good look, making the clips 4x actual size. Still, it represents a not-insignificant chunk of the card. It may or may not be tough on the first go-'round, but if I expand it much, I doubt it will make it past round #2 without someone ID'ing it. Have fun! -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode |

I am probably way off on this, since this card looks familiar and I am not sure why....but...is it from the Ironwing Tarot? |

Not the Ironwing... if and when I expand the clip, you'll begin to see the distinct difference. But a reasonable assumption based on what I've presented so far. Anyone else? -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode |
