Once again, I'm handing out a karma half-point for the guess. But it's not the Fradella deck. -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode |

Well, the ball keeps on rolling. I am not one to give up now. . .! Is it Card # XI - Justice , from the Moonprincess Himiku Tarot ?

Hee hee! That's it! A barrel full of karma points for BlueLotus! (Actually, I knew it as "Himiko", but close enough.) Did you figure it out from the pic, the clue, or both? -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode Last edited by Jeannette; 06-05-2005 at 03:47. Jeannette, I did a search ( my own way) here at AT for some eastern name decks and images, which took me over to TG and found the exact card there. It took me less than 5 minutes to find it. __________________ "And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow." ~ Jerry Chin ~ |

Yeah, I had figured that once I got a large enough section posted, the sample would just scream "Japanese!," and someone would have it in a snap. But I guess I can see why it also gave the impression it was Italian -- it has a bit of that "Lo Scarabeo" flavor to it. However, I thought the Katana in the larger pic might start steering folks more eastward. -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode |

Clue Revisited
Like all classy puzzle/riddles, it had to rhyme! ![]() Here's a clue - a cryptic guide I'm hoping it will turn the tide (= "Moon," which "turns the tides") My aim has been both high and noble (= "Princess," a high-ranking noble) It might help if you can "think global" (trying to steer people away from checking only North American and European decks here) Karma decrees that you'll certainly win Once you can figure out how to begin (look at the beginning letter of each line!) You're up, BlueLotus! -- Jeannette The Tarot Garden __________________ Luck favors the prepared, dahling. --Edna Mode |

Thank you Jeannette. I am not sure how familiar anyone is with my next image/deck , but my guess is that it will probably be either you know it at a glance or you have no clue.
