so i'm interested in the da vinci deck. however, i'm not really an art history buff. if i have to, i can totally do the research on my own, but i'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a book relating specifically to the da vinci tarot and not just the original pieces that the images refer to? ultimately, what i'm looking for is something written by the artists, but i'm not finding that. any leads? thanks! |

No there isn't, the Lo Scarabeo 78 cards lack a book
The only thing I was able to find was another forthcoming Da Vinci tarot, not the same as the Lo Scarabeo one. The new one has some book information. Check out this thread. http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=39120 If you hear anything else, I'm also interested. Book is Coming!
Hi, folks. Just wanted to mention that the Lo Scarabeo folks will be publishing a book for the Da Vinci Tarot early next year. It will include notes on the image sources and divinatory meanings keyed to the themes and content of the pictures on each card. Just FYI! |
