Yeah... double yeah... YAY!!

On a quieter note - yes, I think they work just fine. However, summer is your busy season, so I'll try to keep from jumping up and down and shouting for more until most of the tourists go home.

Chronata.....wow.....

The first pips are lovely....the Ace of Light especially took my breath away!

I love the "non-traditional" suits also....the names you chose have a clear correspondance with the elements they represent, there is no reason for confusion. The idea of glass representing cups: brilliant.

I am very pleased to see that you have broken free from that pesky block, and yet there are always obstacles jumping up and slowing us down. So I will *try* to be patient while waiting for the next cards to emerge. Seriously, as others have said: take your time. Enjoy the process, don't feel pressured to finish. As anxious as we all are to hold the completed precioussssss in our hands, it will be worth the wait.

Luna

PS: I wanted to make a suggestion, or request if you don't mind....

Would it be possible to post attachments of all the Majors in one or two consecutive posts (not sure if there is a limit to attachments per post). Just so that it would be easier to go into the thread and easily view all the cards?

Thanks!!! (((Robyn)))

Hip Hip Hoorah! So glad you started on the minors, I can't wait until someone publishes this deck! It's great!

Also, on another note, glad you started a new thread. As you said, the other was becoming a big lengthy.

Looking forward to the next card! *jumps up and down excitedly*

What a lovely, mysterious, truly magical, deck,Chronata!I´ve spent this Saturday morning reading most of your Majors thread. The Minors are wonderful too;I can´t think of a more beautiful deck. The lady in Three of Lights is stunning. How happy that man will be when he stops reading and sees who has come...The Ace is amzing;all those interesting things on the table, then the mask, the light, the open window with a full Moon...So glad to have found this perfect deck in progress.Thank you so much for sharing.I can´t wait to have a copy of my own.

Thanks everyone!

A new burst of creativity...and two new cards!

The first here is the Ace of Glass (ace of cups) and enters the realm of "what was I thinking?"

Basing an entire suit on a subject that is hugely difficult for me to paint was not my brightest idea.
Glass is traditionaly difficult to capture in paint.

Oh well...

There may be changes later to this one. I was pleased that it statred to pack in all these symbols all on its own!

Comments, as always are welcome!

Here is the 4 of jewels.(4 of pentacles)

This lady was difficult for me to paint as well. I would get really into the process and have to stop and take frequent breaks.

When I would look back...she was giving me that look, and I would have to pull out the brushes and try again.

This card really starts to give you an idea of the subtle differences between the Majors and Minors. the Majors are all full costume shots...like posed snapshots, whereas the minors will have a few cards that are close-ups ,as well as different angles.

I am working on several cards at a time now, but I have really no idea which one I will finish next!
(or when it might happen!)

Keep checking back here. I may be as surprised as you!
