hee hee hee! ![]() I love this thread! It is absolutely true that one can divine with anything. And I think I may have tried them all! Well...okay...never phallomancy... ![]() But I love the idea of artisomancy, Elf! I think my spouse and I do that subconciously ever time we go to art fairs, and galleries! My other favorites...(these are real...) Scatoscopy...."I see nothing in your future but Sh*t..." Gyromancy...where you spin around real real fast until you get dizzy and fall over! Did this a lot at the age of four. Wondered why I kept seeing weird stuff.... Onimancy....divination while observing the angel Uriel. So howzat? You would think one would have to find something real good to entice an archangel to come around enough for observation! I think I am going to limit the outline of my book...to those I have actually tried... No wait, then I will have to include axinomancy...divination using a red hot axe and a stone balanced on top...which my drunken friends and I once tried and almost set an entire campsite on fire. And anyway...it didn't work. __________________ Out Of Body...Back in 5 Minutes |

I was walking the beach a couple of days ago with my daughter and we came upon a scattering of rocks and shells and crabs. I stood looking at it and was trying to see a message or something, but well, I think I need more practice. Plus my little one was hungry and asked, "Can we eat any of this??" and picked up a handful of seaweeds and bit into it. She is 2 btw. Anyhow, the Cape has an outbreak of redtide right now, so I was pretty adamant about her not trying any seagrasses just then. I ended up taking her back to our spot on the beach and packing up for home. But I loved that she was willing to eat the seaweed. __________________ “Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm.” The Gaia Shop Get Your Goddess On! (elf) |
