The best daily spreads

For those of you who do daily cards, what kind of spreads do you do? One card, or more? I'm having trouble deciding what kind of spread to use.

i do a three card spread. (how original, lol ) anyway, here's the spread i use.

1. 2. 3.
1. morning
2. afternoon
3. night

I was thinking about a three-card spread too:

1). challenge
2). advice
3). outcome?

I use a slightly modified version of the popular Body-Mind-Spirit 3-card spread:

Body / Base - the base or heart of the issue
Mind / Will - your true Will or perception of the issue
Spirit / Guide - the guiding light that inspires and uplifts you

I usually do a one card spread for the day. Even if it doesn't have easily recognizable correspondence with my day, I still take the opportunity to learn that particular card.

As someone adviced me (can't remember who), I ask the deck: 'What can you teach me today?' Works fine so far.
