Somehow selecting a tarot card as a significator for a reading always went against the grain for me. The other day, when I was preparing for a reading at my house, I got the idea of using my collection of stones/crystals as significators to support the reading. I set out a large variety on a silver tray and invited my querant to pick whatever stone he was attracted to. I also had a silver dish filled with salt, along with fresh herbs, on the table where I would be reading. I put the stone he selected on salt where it stayed during the reading (which was nothing short of amazing it was so accurate).
Has anyone else used their crystals this way or in some similar way during a reading? I've used my quartz crystal balls near me before because they seem to lend energy to the reading. But this is the first time I've used a stone as a significator for a querant.
