Scrying Group: 9/30-10/7
Hey guys, New thread for the week. Last week's thread can be found here: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=48075 I was just reading an article about scrying excercises. The one that caught my attention was setting up a landscape. It involves creating a landscape in your mind and then learning to visualise it in your scrying surface. You want to look at the landscape as if your in that space as opposed to looking through a window. Slowly turn around and see what lies in all directions, then walking around. This seems like a good way to coax clear images from the surface as your first trying to see. Has anyone tried this? Does anyone want to give it a go? I still haven't seen anything yet and only tried it twice...but often in visions I am standing on top of a cliff looking out over a night sea. I might try this next time I try scrying. . One time I was wondering about all this spirit stuff, & I "saw" the black sea beneath me but with a huge bright full moon on the horizon , laying a path of silver right to my feet. As if to say, here's your road and you cant stray off it. that would fit in with the dark scrying surface--if anybody wants to try that one ... |

havent tried that method! Maybe I'll give it a go. Tried scrying with my new crystal ball on friday. It was hard to get into the right head space, as I kept moving, finding out which is the most comfy way to sit and look at my ball. However, I did see some bears (one of my totem animals) so I had a natter with them for a while. Then I saw this huge fish leap out of the water and eat a fly or something. And then I went to bed and had some very odd dreams about being proposed and train crashes lol. Blessings, Sezo x |

Louise (Scorpion)
MM ~ Here is the follow-up session, as promised. I did it the night before last but only now got online. Hope it brightens things a bit. The first thing I saw was a rainbow, the colors were much deeper and more intense than a physical rainbow. Next I saw a Panda face. The rainbow colors came back and I thought they were forming a butterfly, but the "wings" became ears and made a profile of a long-faced animal, like a horse or a dragon, it was all in colored lines like I was seeing a bright, intense energy body and not a regular picture. After that I saw the T. Rex again but it was smaller and dimmer this time. That is probably a good thing. I started to nod a bit, well, "nod" is the wrong term, my head didn't drop but my eyes closed without my being aware of it and I found myself in front of a hearth. I say "hearth" and not "fireplace" because this wasn't a feature in somebody's decor, it was a very old stone hearth of the kind that would have been the heart of the home, where the people clustered for long hours during the winter months, and where the cooking was done. I opened my eyes and I was back. (Does anyone else do this? Is it an AP of some kind or just trance?) After that I FINALLY saw a human figure, even though it was very tiny. It appeared to be an Asian man walking towards me, I couldn't see his features but his shirt was worn untucked and he had one of those broad conical hats like the Vietnamese wear. With this and the Panda I am starting to see a bit of a theme... Anyway, that was the end. Hope this helps! I will scry another volunteer this week, either an exchange or just for feedback. I do ask one or the other. First come, first served. I would love doing more than one a week but I can't promise that what with working late nights and taking care of a family. So the first one to volunteer gets me this week! BB, Stella Last edited by stella01904; 04-10-2005 at 03:01. Reason: typo |

I have been following the scrying threads since the first one. This fascinates me but I'm so afraid to really try it. A couple of weeks ago I made a thread about Beginning Psychic Images, the first post. (sorry, haven't figured out how to link a post yet)and as I read this thread I began to wonder if I might have been inadvertently scrying somehow. I'm not sure why I'm so afraid to try it. I did try last with the e-scrying pool Ankou posted but nothing happened. Has anyone used this yet and seen anything? I hardly got to sleep last night from paranoia...LOL Anyway, Stella, I would like to volunteer if you haven't anyone yet .Edited to add: In exchange for feedback.
