'Meditations on the Tarot'
While browsing the shelves of my local bookstore today, I came across a large book entitled 'Meditations on the Tarot: a Journey into Christian Hermeticism'. This is a huge volume, consisting of well over 600 pages. I am a Christian, and have always sought sources relating the cards to my faith. I had never come across such a scholarly and extensive book on the subject. As you might imagine, I am very excited about this find. I have never even heard of this book, and was wondering if anyone else has any experience with it. I have barely read through the first few pages, but already, I am very intrigued. To add to the mystique of the volume, it has been published anonymously and posthumously. The afterword is written by Cardinal Hans Urs von Balthazar. I'd love to get the scoop about this amazing book from someone in the "know". Thanks! __________________ Andryh Last edited by Andryh; 27-06-2002 at 06:49. |
