Can anyone provide some information about five card spreads? I haven't got a clue what they are. __________________ "Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall." —William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure |

Do you have a question about a specific five card spread? Because there are loads of five card spreads, the term just refers to any spread that uses five cards. __________________ Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too. ~Voltaire~ |

I don't have any in mind. The reason I want to know more about them is because I wanted more detailed/clearer answers to my questions (I've been using the 3 card spread). __________________ "Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall." —William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure |

You can always create your own spread of course. But if you don't want to do that, check out Anja's website, there are a lot of spreads to be found there. __________________ Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too. ~Voltaire~ |

Here's the five-card spread I usually use: 1. Root of the problem/concern/situation 2. Conditions at present 3. A surprise/the unexpected (could refer to past or future) 4. Advice card (what you should do next) 5. Outcome -- Lee |

This is my favourite - always works for me. 1. Situation/ your task 2. Problem 3. Solution 4. New insights/ what you're unaware of 5. Conclusion/ summary __________________ Carol 'And the lives of a man are strung like pearls on the thread of his spirit'............Dion Fortune |

I assume the last two spreads use the 12345 layout? __________________ "Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall." —William Shakespeare, Measure for Measure |
