Smile The Tea Leaf Fortune Cards

incredible cards..... love working with this deck......

i was very surprised when after writing a letter in Rainbow News an NZ Magazine i recieved a parcel in the post of Fortune Tea leaf Cards....

i love the spreads and the way you can intuively read the cards together, like a story..........12 month spread, a topic Spread 9 cards......etc......
So many spreads to work with....

i find my clients love them as an add on from my Tarot readings........(I type up the readings, which the client takes away.. keeps a journal.........and sends me feedback........).......

Blessed Be!

Reinspired to bring this deck out. I loved the idea of this deck and it was great fun initially but I found the readings to tend towards the specific/unrealistic side for me.

Will have to try them again!

I've had quite a few really spot on readings with these cards.
I'm experimenting with weekly 4 card draws to work with them a little more often..

So Vesta, a question, when you added these to your tarot readings for clients, did you focus on them ahead of time and pull the cards yourself to be able to have time to write up readings for them to take with them? or did they pull the cards while they were with you?

I'd be interested to hear how you've incorporated them

Best wishes,

LisaW (Spiritsong)

As I get client to touch, shuffle each deck, and choose the cards I write up the reading as they are preparing the next set of cards....... I then give them copy from the tarot reading to reread while I type up the Tea leaf card then print it out for them to take away.....I find it really works for me.... took a few readings before i got into a routine that it worked..... for awhile i had client sitting there staring into space... so I go them doing something else....inlcuding sitting quietly with a chosen crystal from the Crystal ally cards, focusing and absorbing the crystal energy.........even do a one card from a chosen oracle deck, ....... the client loved the fact they were able to pull one card from an oracle deck they were drawn to..... that's the advantage of having several Doreen Virtue decks, Toni Salerno decks etc....

Takes time but work out the routine that suits you.....

I better get organizedd a client in an hour and have to clear Healing Room space.....

Wow, Rev Vesta, -- Never have given a live in person "typed" reading before!

I was interested in the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards (and I too went and got a cute container for mine) but I find I never have an interest in reading with them I think the arbitrary/definitive meanings turned me off.
I may now try it again -- it's been years!

I type up all my readings, my clients really like them.......

I have ended getting lots of velvet and satin pentacle bags and wooden pentacle boxes for my cards...... love them.....

enjoy the cards.. play play play.... do monthly readings, topic readings... do a reading for a month, do a reading for 3 months, 6 months a year......

quite interesting........
connect intuitively to the card............you will be suprised how accurate they can be.......

Talking Charming!

I just won a pristine set of these cards on eBay, and they are just charming! I didn't think I would like them as they have the meanings printed on them, but the text is unobtrusive. I like the colorful artwork.

I'm looking forward to reading the book and working with this system...it's certainly unique! And, of course, I'm already thinking of how to incorporate these cards with Tarot. Ideas, anyone???

Asher

I have completely longed for these cards since the first time I saw them, but they have always been out of my price range. Today I stopped by a little metaphysical shop I know, on a whim, and something pushed me to the back of the store where they have a section I did not even know about. I found them there for only $15 and I almost fell over. I could not believe my luck, and I am love, love, love them!

Oh Manda! i am thrilled for you! i keep trying to get a set and each time i "reach for them", they get away...Just bad timing. But hearing that you found one in the way you did, really makes me smile ear to ear! Please enjoy them, dear one!

I have the deck (bought years ago, I must add) but am missing a card. Where would I possibly get a replacement? Would the publisher still have? Or am I out of luck?
