New Member: TarotDreamer
Hello, Everyone! I'm new to the forum, and just wanted to introduce myself. I've been a Tarot reader for seven years now. I came to Tarot as a result of a dream I once had. In it, I was doing a reading for myself using playing cards. Since I had never seen or used Tarot cards, my subconscious mind used playing cards as a frame of reference. Six months later, I got my first deck. That deck was the Crowley-Thoth deck, which I used for a couple of years. My next deck has turned out to be my favorite: the Robin Wood Tarot, which I still use to this day. I have collected a lot of decks over the years, but I always manage to come back to this one. My favorite spread to use is the Celtic Cross, and I have recently started designing my own spreads. I head up a local Tarot group in my area, as well as teach a weekly dream interpretation class at my church. I'm looking forward to corresponding with people in the future. If anyone has any questions for me, please ask! Peace and light, TarotDreamer |

Oh, welcome, fellow Robin Wood Tarotist!!! I use the RW for personal readings, though I prefer Druidcraft or Golden when reading for others... I don't know what that's about, but quite frankly, I try not to think about it too much... Tarotdreamer, have you ever read The Dream of Scipio? It's where I got my name... Not my REAL name, but the "julien" I use here... I didn't dream Tarot, but what got me restarted with Tarot after a few years away was, in part, dreams that suggested past lives, and the Tarot helped me work through them... Not really the same thing, but important... Looking forward to chatting with you in the future! Julien |
