Post Blank Tarot Templates

I can't remember who it was that posted about making an image on the computer so all you had to do was print and fold. Anyway, I was working on some templates for making my own Tarot set doing this and thought about making some blank ones to post here that others could use. tarot.gif is plain, with square corners, tarot2.gif has a background, with square corners, tarot3.gif has a background, with rounded corners, and tarot4.gif is plain, with rounded corners. Just open them up in a graphics program like Paint and print...there's two to a page.

Thumbs up

Woah, I never thought of this. I've been wanting to create my own deck but always stop because I don't know how to go about it.

I will be using these. Thanks for sharing.

Waya, are you talking about the tarot boxes? Those were mine... I just cancelled my web host so they're not available via the web anymore, but if anyone wants the blank ready-to-decorate .jpg files, drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send a zip file.

So...

You print the back and the front of the card on the same page...

Cut them out...

And fold them so you have a back and a front proper?

Is that right?

Nifty!
Good one!

That's really clever. They would line up properly and everything.

Now that does simplify things quite a bit. I hadn't thought about doing cards connecting to each other like that.

If you print on the back side of the page, you won't have to fold....

Print the exact same dimensions as the front make them even. In the puter program, just paste in the same picture of the backside of the cards....

Print and then turn the page over and print the fronts....

Use a card stock, of course....

My printer's rollers never been able to pull the page through exactly the same to line up both sides perfectly, unfortunately, so printing on one side and folding does seem to be a better option in this case.

Great idea. Why didn't I ever think of that?

Our self made decks up to now were glued to their respective card backs (because we had them as leftovers from other stuff). But for my next idea, I'll likely use this idea, thanks.
