Need a 'clarity of path' Spread
Okay...here's a challenge. I need a spread that will help someone (me) figure out just what the heck they are supposed to be doing with their life. I'm thinking in terms of how I spend the majority of my time...so likely it's career related. I am literally in a fog right now. So I need to find out a few things. 1. what type of work should I be doing (am thinking to pull first Ace for this?) 2. how should that work manifest...(would this be first major to arise?) 3. what do I need to know to move forward...or something like that Does this make any sense? Does anyone know of a spread for someone as totally confused as I am??? ![]() ![]() Thanks & Blessings, Keigh __________________ ~Forgiveness doesn't mean approval...forgiveness is letting go of the hope for a better past.~ paraphrase from the December 2008 issue of David Emerald's "The TED* Letter" |

Career planning
Hi Keigh First question - are you working now? If you are looking to change jobs, instead of asking What should I be doing? The first question I see would be - What's wrong with my current job? and question two - What's right about my current job. Question three - What kind of work would I be good at doing? Question four - What should I do to get the kind of job I want? Question five - What could help me do it? Question six - What could block me from doing it? Question seven - Where will it lead. The pattern of the layout can be set according to your personal preference. (e.g., diamond shape, square, circle, etc.) One to three cards could be used for each question. For myself, too many cards can be downright confusing. If you are working now, it's good to find out what is good about it and this in turn could lead to your next steps and importantly find out what is blocking you from taking those steps. Hope this helps - if just a little....... Best wishes, tink |

Tink, Yes I am working...actually, I have too much to do...until a few weeks ago, I was working three part time jobs. (This is what happens when you stop running the corporate race). Anyway, I have one actual consulting job...about 20 hrs a week and then have things I "think" I'd rather be doing, but don't know if there's any legitimate future there. Does that help clarify? I posted a "what do I do next" spread a little while ago that may help. You'll find it at: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=52753 |
