Toothache... Any help?
Hey Everyone, I was wondering if there was anything out there that helps with toothaches? I read up that amethyst is good for it, but it doesnt seem to be helping. Any other ideas would be greatly appericated. Thanks so much in advance. |

Well, until you get to the dentist, wearing aquamarine might help relieve the pain. |

Hi penguinsandtigers ![]() Depending on what might be wrong with the tooth and why its aching - rinsing your mouth with salt water really helps reduce swelling of the gums. Oil of Clove works well too - but just a dab on a cottonbud and then onto the effected area - too much injested is not good for you ![]() Nothing substitutes for a Dentist though - as much as I hate their little drilling ways and their perfect teeth!!! Mwahahaha ![]() Hope its gets better soon. (((((((penguinsandtigers))))))) Blessings Elven x __________________ Elven - 15 months old Last edited by Elven; 28-02-2006 at 06:21. |

thanks for the advice so far. I go into the dentist tomorrow at 11, but i just need something to take the pain away for now. It seems to be either an abcess or my wisdom teeth. So thanks *hugs* |

Find the point in the web between your forefinger and thumb, right up between the two bones. Press firmly for about a minute. Important - this point should not be used by anyone who's pregnant as it can precipitate a miscarriage. |

Green Calcite. I used it after having a wisdom tooth extraction. I just held it against my cheek (don't put it in your mouth). It it's an abcess think 'cool' such as blue stones (You would treat an abcess with cold packs, not hot packs) to control the 'hot' area. I hope you find comfort; abcesses are the Devil's own pain.

I also want to add that 'creative visualization' (I hate the term, but it helps) is part of using stones for pain killing. I used green calcite when I had a wisdom tooth extracted. I placed it against my cheek (never put stones in your mouth - many contain arsenic or worse) and visualized the pain going from my mouth to the green stone. The stone is then cleasned under running water. A second note - think blue or 'cool' stones with an abcess. {Medically, you never put heat on an abcess- which would exascerbate the pain- you would put ice packs on it} Use blue stones to help 'cool' down the area. By the time you read this I know you will be back from the dentist ... I hope your pain is minimal and the problem taken care of.

Glad you had this seen to. Toothaches even though they go away - come back and are no fun. They say there is a corelation between the health of your teeth and the health of your heart too. Hope its all fixed up completely soon. ![]() Blessings Elven x __________________ Elven - 15 months old |
