Wow! They're just lovely. Can't wait to see the Courts.

My opinion? While a LWB is not strictly 100% necessary if you self-publish, it certainly would help in a deck this original.

And pips are the Ace-10 of each suit; particularly if they're not illustrated with scenes like the RWS. Marseille-style are definitely pip cards, ones likes yours, and the Thoth, for example, are kind of in between. At least, that's my opinion.

If you're going to self-publish, add me to the waiting list right now!!

I need to dwell on these court cards, but they just seem right to me. Royalty should be clean and simple. The other cards are so busy... It makes these suit cards stand out on there own, something like the Aces at the other end of the spectrum. I place the symbols according to how they are addressed in the RWS deck. If the person is looking at the symbol (all for court cards are studying the pentacles) in the center. And then to left or right, depending on which hand the item is in.

I'm going to do a printout of the entire deck, cut them, and play with them some.

What do you think? I like the way these look in conjunction with the other cards.

They're well done, of course (that goes without saying!), but I have to confess that the Courts are a disappointment after the beauty of the pips and the Majors.

Maybe it's just a little burn out on my part, plus the thought of have to go back to work tomorrow. Like I said, I wasn't sure. I'm going to think about it some more. Be assured the way it is now, the court cards are going to change....

Thank You QueenofPentacles, you have helped.

Don't get me wrong, DraagonStorm, I'm still looking forward to the deck being produced, and I still want a copy! But for what it's worth, I think the Courts can be so much better - your other cards certainly show that If I have helped, I'm glad.

Speaking of burnout and back to work ... enough forums on company time (I hate working Sundays)

No, I didn't take it wrong, I was feeling the same way. Just needed to hear it from someone else to give me that push "I need" to work on it some more

OK QoP, did some work on the court cards (Thanks for the nudge )

Still need to do:
Page, Knight, and King of Coins and Cups

But, I think I need to take a break, and think about what is attacking me at work tomorrow.. I already know it's a lot, because I've gotten phones calls and emails all during these two weeks. But I'm use to that from work. Last year when I had major surgery, work called with questions for me only 4 hours after my surgery!!! Who knows what kind of answers I gave them, I was on morphine....

What ever... Take a look people, and see what you think...

Ahhhhhh ... now those are just STUNNING. I love the pyramids in the Wands and the earth-goddess feel of the Queen of Coins.

Lovely, DraagonStorm, just wonderful

Hang in there at work!
