These boxes have really caught my fancy, and the only way I'm going to get it loose is to win one. __________________ If you can't be a good example - - then you will just have to be a horrible warning |

There are three marks of an angel’s work. First, they always say: "Don’t be afraid. We’re here. We’re taking care of things." Second, you are filled with warmth and joy. Home! cries your lost and lonely soul, flooding with remembrance. Third, you are never quite the same: you cannot forget. -Sophy Burnham |

Oh Dear, I had such a wonderful fair =) I did 7 Readings in 3 hours and was pleased with the results. After the first two I really thought I was doing a shitty job. Did a quicky Reading for myself, showing that I was only 'believing' this to be so. People came and said that they heard from others that I was really good. No silly Questions, always treated with respect. Saw some people really flower up with happiness at hearing things confirmed. I do also hope that some will order Readings from my website. I was sorry when the time was up and I had to leave although there were at least 3 people asking me if they could still have one. I really really like doing this. Too bad I can't do this for a living. I felt very revitalised and happy. FantasyWorld - What's the name for the fear of not having anything remotely interesting to say in a competition? I'd win a useless information competition hands down... frosty

This morning, for my daily meditation spread, I drew from the Gill Tarot. It's not a deck I use often (probably because of the religious underpinnings of the accompanying book) but every time I do I am struck by how clever the card's images are. Does anyone else use this deck? weaver __________________ "Discipline is remembering what it is you truly want." Leslie McEachern |

Obscure Plant Facts
The leaves of the Victorian water lily are sometimes over six feet in diameter. We have some of these here at The Missouri Botanical Gardens. These water lily leaves can also hold a full grown man Orchids are grown from seed so small that it would take thirty thousand to weigh as much as one grain of wheat. Someone has ALOT of time on their hands At last count there were about 226,000 trees in New York's Central Park. Who did they pay to count all of them? The Curly Redwood Lodge is one of northern California’s most unique lodges. It was built from one curly redwood tree that produced 57,000 board feet of lumber. The tree - cut down in 1952 - was 18 feet 2 inches at the trunk. Curly redwood is unique because of the curly grain of the wood, unlike typical straight grained redwood. Curly wood? The Mexican Jumping Bean is not a bean. It is actually a thin-shelled section of a seed capsule containing the larva of a small gray moth called the jumping bean moth (Laspeyresia saltitans). I've actually opened one up and seen this thing The average ear of corn has eight-hundred kernels arranged in sixteen rows. Again, lots of time on their hands Trees do not have life expectancies like humans. Some in California are believed to be four-thousand years old or more. How can trees live so long? The simple answer is that they're not as complex as people. So, as long as conditions are right, trees continue to live and grow, until something interrupts it. In my next life, I wanna be a tree. In ancient religions, the Norsemen considered the mistletoe a baleful plant that caused the death of Baldur, the shining god of youth. Can you say kiss of death? LOL Carrageenan is a common ingredient in ice cream and toothpaste. Carrageenan is seaweed. A purple, edible seaweed, also known as Irish moss, that's found along the coasts of Northern Europe and North America. It's used as a suspending agent in foods, pharmaceuticals and liquids, as a clarifying agent for beverages, and in controlling crystal growth in frozen confections. I do not want to be seaweed in my next life A person standing under an oak tree is 16 more times liable to be hit by lightning than if he had taken refuge beneath a beech tree. The oak tree has vertical roots which provide a more direct route to ground water. I wont be standing under an oak tree anytime soon __________________ Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it still sings! ~Author Unknown Dreams are today's answers to tomorrow's questions. ~Edgar Cayce |
