Story Telling Game - new beginnings !

The story telling game, invented by aville. (For the beginning of all this, see this thread.)
After the first two groups of stories (Tower and Fool) were posted, those who had signed up began to have trouble with timing and so on. So – we have all agreed to do it another way.

We also decided to give up on voting for now as it was putting people off writing, but one member has suggested we could get a collection of stories together and publish them at the end. We would ask for members’ opinions to help select the stories to be included.

New rules

Write a story – not too long – about a major arcana card. The threads for each are listed below with links and target dates. BUT - the target dates are not written in stone, and people don’t have to write a story for every card. Anyone can join in at any time. Just - please don’t post a story BEFORE the target date ! And please don’t post anything except stories in the story threads – comments should be made here !

Please say when you post your story what deck you used, and post an image of the card in your story post, or a link to it (someone can help with photobucket, for non subscribers!)

Please do introduce yourself here and let us know you are joining in !

Threads for the later cards, with their dates, will come later. Please watch this post for them !

Edited. I am taking out all the dates; I give up. We have a new writer who wants to join in. THIS IS THE BEST NEWS THIS THREAD HAS HAD IN AGES ! Since no-one has posted a story in weeks, I shall just undate everything and set up a few new threads later. Anyone - please do join in. It is a really fun idea. I just got embarrassed being the only one to keep going.

I can't take all the credit - we've been discussing this for a few days now.

I just love playing on the web and said I'd create the threads ! Get to it with the Magician then. I think I shall use the Parrott deck.....

This is great! I had the tower story almost finished by the deadline and loved my fool story, then somehow deleted the document. How appropriate for the fool. I was too disheartened to write it again. But now, without the deadlines ... I'm game.

I picked up a tarot deck for the first time several months ago, with the idea that it could be used to help develop story lines for writing, so this will be a grand experiment.
