Expanding the Three card Spread
I have been wanting to share this spread with all of you for some time, but just now have a little bit of xtra time to jot this down for you. I got this from Mary K Greer's book "Tarot for Yourself." I am a major endorser of her stuff, simply because it makes sense and is so well thought out. It is a little involved, but I will try to make this as simple as possible. Here goes. Shuffle your deck until they're "cooked" and then cut them into three piles. Draw the top card from each pile for a basic three card reading. 1. Body 2. Mind 3. Spirit The issue(s) described by these cards are: Next draw the bottom card from each pile. 4. Hidden influences 5. Hidden influences 6. Hidden influences These cards (shadow cards) talk about the hidden or unconscious influences working in the Body, Mind, and Spirit. BTW, Body is the physical world, Mind of course is your mind thoughts, and Spirit is well, your spiritual side. Oh we're not through yet. We need a resolution. Taking the three decks separately, shuffle them by themselves, fan them and then pick a card for each pile. 7. the resolution of my body issue. 8. the resolution of my mind issue. 9. the resolution of my spiritual issue. Finally, take the three piles shuffle them together, cut twice and put back together in any order. Turn up the top card. This is the key card which will integrate the preceding cards and is a key to using the information from all the other cards. .....................1.........2..........3 .....................4.........5..........6 .....................7.........8..........9 ...............................10................. I have used this spread alot lately and have gotten some terrific results. The readings are in depth and very close to the issues at hand in the querent's question?
