It's all in the collective unconscious
It's funny how things happen - there I've been, looking at tarot decks as I pass by, and thinking "I think I'd like to know more about that - there's something in it that appeals to me.." And my sister buys me my first deck for Xmas out of the blue. I'm gone. I've long been fascinated by the timeless links between folk myths, Jungian psychology, and the power of my own dreams & instinct - and I was looking for something to help make unlocking the door a bit easier when I'm awake. Shuffle the cards, take a deep breath, and connect.... |

Thank you all for such a warm welcome. As I start to visit some of your profiles I'm astounded and not a little alarmed at the number of decks in everyone's collections. Should I start a savings fund now to cater for the unquenchable desire for yet another deck? I suspect the bug has bit me as with great anticipation, I'm waiting for the arrival of the Tarroco Italiano I just ordered in the hope I can relate to it more than the Marseille deck I started with. I suspect it won't stop there.... |
