'Tarot For All Seasons' book

I've been considering buying this boko for quite a while now, but I'm not sure how much use I'll get from it. I've bought Christine Jette's previous books, 'Tarot Shadow Work' which was amazing, and 'Tarot For The Healing Heart', which I haven't quite managed to get roud to reading yet...

Has anyone got this book, and if so, yay or nay?

New Book - Tarot for all Seasons

I just got this book the other day and I have to say it's really an interesting, easy read. It's by Christine Jette who also wrote Tarot Shadow Work and Tarot for the Healing Heart.
She gives a new spread for each Sabbat and a spread for full, waxing and waning moons. She explains them then gives a sample reading for each.
It is written with the pagan/wiccan tradition in mind, but I don't see why anyone couldn't use it. And of course it doesn't hurt IMO that she uses the Robin Wood deck on the cover! LOL

Sure Kaz,
Here's the spread she has for Imbolc (February 2) called Brid's wheel. It's drawn out like the points on a snowflake.
.......2.......
5.............6
3.............4
.......1.......

1) STRENGTH - This card shows where you are strong. If you don't like this card, it may be because it describes a painful life experience that has made you strong-or WILL make you strong if you directly face the issue.
2) HEART'S DESIRE - your deepest desire. What do you really want? This card may surprise you. Do you dare to speak of your secret dreams?
3) HEALER - What needs to be healed if you are to be strong? Note whether or not there is a relationship between position one (strength) and this card. Does this card describe a situation or give you advice about a situation?
4) CREATIVE INSPIRATION - When healing energy is released, creative inspiration is the result. What are you inspired to do? What creative activity fires you up?
5) MAKING PLANS - Based on the creative information of position four, what plans can you now make? Look for the relationships between cards three, four, and five: Healing energy produces a creative spark that needs planning to become real.
6) NEW GROWTH - What is the promise of spring that lies just beneath the snow? By knowing where you are strong and focusing on your heart's desire, healing releases a creative fire that offers new beginnings. What is your promise of spring?

I've got Christine's other two books, and have been thinking about buying this one. I think I probably will now....

Faunabay: Thanks for the heads up on the book. It is going on my "wish list".
Thanks also for sharing the spread. I particularly like the snowflake or 6-pointed star shape. Am looking forward to using it!

Thanks, Faunabay,

I have the Tarot Shadow Work book, and I really like it. I'm going to look for this book next time around the bookstore.

Thanks Solandia, I was thinking about getting this book from eBay and your review has helped me making my mind and purchasing it. It sounds truly interesting and enriching. I just love the books that mix up tarot with witchcraft or Wicca, definitely my cup of tea =)
Thnx.
