Hey Guys! For the longest while I have been embracing an almost overwhelming interest in the Magickal, medicinal, religious, and entoptic uses of herbs. More recently, in fact, I have developed an interest in the corresponding herbs of each card in the Traditional tarot deck-- eg. The Hierophant corresponds to the borage. So, to this end, I am searching for some really "classic" litreature" on this particular topic, in the "vein", if you will, of Aleister Crowley or MacGregor Mathers. While I have come upon a couple references in two lovely modern herbals for Borage corresponding to The Hierophant card, I have not found that primary source material, yet (which is the sort of thing I'm looking for at the present). All my best, Wade |

angelpaths.com has a section with herbal correspondences to tarot cards. I think it might be in the subscriber area. It's not much but it's a start while you look for something more along the Crowley lines. |
