Strange story about my house... A doctor used to live in my house. Once, he failed to cure a patient, and so they stabbed him on the doorstep. His whole family took everything the next day, left and never returned. We moved in about 5 years later, when it was actually like a haunted house. There was a huge piano in one room covered in cobwebs, the lid still lifted up where they had been playing it. In the kitchen was cups where they had been drinking tea, now gone mouldy. My garden was completely overgrown. There is woods that belong to the deeds in the house that were basically impossible to get in they were so overgrown. Plus, there was the stable in the paddock where a horse was kept, which scared me s**tless!!!!!!!!!! I had nightmares about a woman who stood there near the woods... Frightened me for months and months!!! And that is the true story of my 'haunted' house!!

How come I never saw this thread either ? I think the deck is going to be just beautiful. Ok my haunted story: We lived in a rented house in Niagara Falls, Ontario for a short time as it was a contract thing. I was pretty young, about 18.. sorry KOW .. but anyway. It had arched windows in the bedroom and there used to be a small white apparition which would float in through the windows. It scared me a lot and I would not sleep in the room alone.. my sister and I slept together in those days. I had nightmares for years after that and was so very happy when we moved to Northern Quebec. Snow and all. |

He was still in his human form, but that too would not matter for long. He ran his tongue over his front teeth and could feel the tip of his fangs. He could smell the sweet blood mixed with fragrant roses. He needed to feed and she would become his, tonight. He would try to wait until the maid had settled in her room for the night. Patience. ...Tune in tomorrow... __________________ Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- WOW--What a Ride! This thread is becoming as beautifully bizarre as I had hoped, Some of the posts are gems in their own right - thank-you! So, to play our part, Alex and I are now leaving to take the deck on a walk down Golden Lane (The Street of the Alchemists) where we will pay homage to Madame de Thebes, tarot's only modern martyr (murdered by the gestapo for refusing to stop giving readings saying that the Nazis would be defeated - we will visit her old studio). This deck may be a little scuffed by the time it's through, but if there is any truth whatsoever in vibrations, it will certainly have a few (and no, whoever wins it is NOT to promptly sling it on to ebay!) Eeek - Alex has left, must go........................... __________________ The Magic Realist Press and Baba Studio Tarot of Prague Baroque Bohemian Cats' Tarot Fairytale Tarot Fantastic Menagerie Tarot Victorian Flower Oracle Victorian Romantic Tarot Bohemian Gothic Tarot Alice Tarot - 2013 |

Wow, that deck is beautiful... I didn't have time to post something intelligent so I left in the morning to go to the doc... on the way back I went past a shop I never saw, that sells colonial stuff... In their shopwindow they had a beautiful white wooden box with key with on it... a wild rose! Totally hilarious when I saw that the card of the Wild Rose was in there I promised myself that if I win this deck, I would buy that box with it... since I'm poor I better not win it!Kahlie P.S. I just realised I still didn't post anything intelligent... oh well, tomorrow is another day! __________________ To be graceful to all whom we meet, regardless of their attitude towards us seems to be the real test of faith. One of the reasons that I love this deck is that my husband and I used the language of flowers a little when we were first dating, and then used it to pick out the bouquets for the wedding. I still have the silk lilacs in a vase. Far too many of the flowers in question are wildflowers, unfortunately; for one, my husband drew a rebus of the flower's name! Hee. On the subject of ghosts... I have to admit most of my family's experiences with the supernatural has involved prophetic dreams, but my grandmother passed away last year, and my aunt swore to me that she knew that it had happened before anyone called her because she felt a presence that she said felt like Grandma Fish. On a less spooky aspect of ghosts, I've tried watching the Ghost Hunters show, and they seem to be quite scientific in their approach, which impresses me. |

and now for my ghost post whhhooooooooooooooo My old house built at a crossroads ancient sites where spirits pass along the lines of the land ,had roses growing over the door arch ,forget me nots and clover threaded through the lawn and abundances of foxgloves and oriental poppies in the flower beds oh and a large red hot poker just because I like them hee hee .There was one room in the house where nobody could sleep ,there was an uncomfortable anger in the room ,a stagnant air . One night while pregnant and forced by the urgency in my bladder I hesitantly made my way down the old windy uneven staircase ,holding my breath as I passed the doorway of the "scary Room" ,my skin began to tingle ,every hair on my body stood on end as the door creaked and began to open releasing a dour smell of rotten cabbage ,arrrgggh I could take it no more I ran ,looking behind me I saw from the corner of my eye a vapour like mist human sized walk out through the door of the scary room through the front door into the garden where the vapour devapourised in the glow of the full moon . I used a potty after that if I needed a wee in the night
