Oh, great name for a site, KK - congratulations. I wish you all the best with it

Thank you for each of your advice. I have modified my Web Site to reflect most of your concerns.

This is a work in progress, so please PM me if you have any other suggestions...

Curious... why would that matter unless a reader's audience (customer) is other readers? Sorry if I'm sounding daft and clueless.

However, I'm glad the deck was explained on the site because I'm going to go pick one up now. I have heard other readers mention the deck but I never bothered to check why it was so good -- should be interesting.

Cheers!

KK,

I love your FAQ last question. You take care of two things there, the querent being relaxed, and yo' ass in case someone wants to sue you because they mistakenly heard something or read something and it didn't happen. Some silly thing called "breach of verbal contract." It's old, but every once in a while it comes up in courts. Well done.

Baroli

PS. Will you offer refunds if someone doesn't like the reading?? Just curious, not being a wiseguy.

Looks great, KK. And very easy to get around. And while the pix are useful, I don't think you need to go overboard on explaining; it isn't a historical site. If people like the look of the deck, and want a reading - fine. But you have done all the explaining necessary, in my book.

Good luck.

Not at all. Within the context of the discussion, TarotBear mentioned that KK should say something about why the Minchiate would give a better reading than another deck - KK responded that would be a turnoff. (Please see the posts for the actual conversation - not up to all the quoting ). My comment was just that if KK likes using the Minchiate better than other decks - he could explain WHY he likes it from his own perspective. That would answer the question of why the Minchiate and not another deck without "dissing" the other deck. KK's customers may be readers - or they may be people who are familiar with readings and haven't heard of the deck he is using.

KK,
Just checked out the updated site - PERFECTION!

Adding a card to each page really makes a difference! I also liked the level of detail you used. There is enough there to meet the comfort level of a visitor, yet you are not giving lessons on reading or the history of Tarot.

Fantastic! Did you design the site yourself?

And I double-checked with Mr. Somerville (very nice and very helpful, btw) from http://www.playingcards.com about the legality of it. The publishing house is closed and the artists (probably) sold his rights to the house.

I went through doteasy.com It si one of their "consultant" templates.

I signed up for my domain name which was $25/year and the Web Page builder service was free!
