Rune reading, Communication problems

I did a rune reading asking for guidance on how to fix a communication problem with a relative.
Situation Sowilo, advice algiz, outcome Manaz
Is algis telling me that it is better to stay away from this relative?, A bit confused, i would like to hear others input.

I would see the Rune algiz as a sign to 'reach out'. I think your situation is going to improve and shine like the sun if you reach out and make the first move to resolve this dispute. The outcome Rune just looks like two people coming together for a kiss! It looks to me like the Runes are telling you to take the first step and reach out to your family member so you can come together again. Peace to you and your relative.

I agree. Algiz usually suggests you need to reach out in order to achieve what you desire; you need tomake that first effort, even if you feel you're making some kind of sacrifice (of pride, etc.). It's a very positive reading for this situation, I believe.

Situation – Isa destroyed, something revealed (discovered), communication stilted because one person ‘thinks they know’ something about the other which (judgment call) they don’t approve of, or dislike. A rune of hope or good counsel but appearing in the past for a bad situation – poor advice given? Opinion over fact?

Algiz…this is a rune of warding – not about reaching out. It is here because it indicates a potentially destructive situation. It is a Rune of communication between you and your Fylgia (think conduit to the Gods – Guardian Angel…whatever you see it as) but NOT another human!!! If you attempt to grasp or use the Divine Ward as a weapon – you will have disaster at all corners. Algiz appears here as a warning that there are higher forces at work, and to attempt to interfere will bring woe.

Outcome = Mannaz = Man…Humans ain’t perfect. We are beautiful, wonderful, impulsive, creative, and even in the best circumstances, with the best intentions – we screw up. We make mistakes. To understand and appreciate the Three-Fold Gift from the Gods, to appreciate that we are only human when in flesh-form, to fully grasp the ‘rational mind’ implied – we have to embrace that we, and our loved ones, are simply people. We make mistakes. They are like you, you are like them. They are us. We are them. We share a piece with all other humans, their imperfections, and their strengths.

I was trying to reach out for this person but ironically always seems to be an obstacle in the way when trying to do so. It is really weird when i try to seek this person either they aren't around, or they are busy talking to someone else. I started to believe that perhaps alguiz is keeping me from seeking this person as a form of protection by making this person unavailable to me when trying to reach for them.

I have tried to reach out but haven't been successful due to this relative being out of reach when trying to do so.

I believe you are right Umbrae, the message of Alguiz is not to seek this person out, like i said before i have tried to seek out this person without success, the last 3 time i have attented, for some reason i couldn't, it was beyond my control the fist 2 times this person was busy talking to some other people and i was short of time due to my work schedule so i couldn't wai, and the last time I just missed this person, they were leaving when i was arriving. I believe this was a form of protection from algiiz to keep me away from this person by making them unavailble to me. It is a sad family situation, but i will follow the advice algiz has given me to stay away.
