Hi, I had a lovely Meteorite crystal and a Turqiouse crystal, they were together in a pocket of a winter coat, securely closed, and put away for a move from one home to another, and packed for the summer. I went to it and opened up the pocket with its zipper and viola no crystals. I was soooo upset they were my favourite. They seemed to have run away and left me forever. Has anyone had problems with vanishing crystals? Or what do you think they are trying to tell? I am speechless, I love my crystals. Looking for opinions, thanks. Serpenta |

Yup, I had a cute little Herkimer diamond that I put in a small ziplock bag in my tight jeans pocket with a couple of other loose crystals. When I got back home, the other crystals were there, but Herkie and bag were gone. I hadn't even gone into that pocket while I was out, so I was very confused as to how it got out. I only hope it's happier where it is now. |

Yes, most recently two little cubes of natural Howlite seem to have gone walk-about or perhaps disappeared completely I had put them with rose quartz and another stone for a quick healing grid for my daughter and they are now nowhere to be found . Over the years I've had quite a few crystal folk leave some have later returned and some have gone forever . Sometimes it is because their work with me is done sometimes they must have found a new person who needed them more. I did have one crystal with Pyrope at the bottom and over the years the Pyrope vaporized leaving only a thin edge of what is probably pyrite. I Have sometimes had the missing stone return including a Piece of tourmaline included quartz I found in my yard in Los Angeles that I could swear it is the same piece that was vacuumed up, dumped in my yard in San Francisco and carried away by a Raven before I could recover it. In a house with kids and cats there are often mundane explanations for disappearances but some will always be true mysteries and if you see a little black phantom scepter quartz wandering around tell him I miss him and would love to see him again. |

Yes, I too have had experiences with vanishing crystals. My belief is that they do a disappearing act when you no longer really 'need' them, or they somehow make their way on to someone else whose 'need' for their powers is greater than yours. If your need becomes great for it again, you may find that it just as suddenly re-appears! The most interesting experience I have had of this was when my rose quartz went missing. To me it seemed to be 'an essential', so I went off to replace it. However my attention was far more strongly drawn to a stunning mangano calcite, which I came home with instead! I love this crystal now, and since purchasing it, haven't even given a second thought to purchasing another rose quartz as yet. I guess when the 'need' strikes I will be off to hunt down another, but for now it seemed to have decided that it's work with me was done! |
